The Philosophy of Science is a distinct and dynamic discipline that draws on both mainstream problems in philosophy as they are applied to science and specific philosophical issues that arise from the sciences themselves. This diversity present particular challenges in teaching students from different academic backgrounds. The Subject Centre recognises these issues and supports learning and teaching in philosophy of science in all its forms.
